FAQ

Who specifically is behind the organization of JudoTraining.cz events?

Me 😊.

Jan D. Čermák, I am from Prague and my lifelong home club is the University Sports Club Prague (previously named TJ Slavia VŠ Prague and later TJ VŠ Prague). I started organizing tournaments and camps in 2014 and over time profiled this activity into the commercial and firmly structured form it has today. Part of the work can be read from the references on the website. But it is only a fraction of what we have already put together in 10 years. See “About Us” for more information.

Others:

Accounting: Nikola Vodičková: orders-invoicing@judotraining.cz
Insurance for events and financial advice: Rostislav Vacátko: moje@financevplusu.cz

Can I participate in the event even if I am not from the Czech Republic, nor do I live in the Czech Republic?

Of course yes! That’s exactly what JudoTraining.cz is about. A judoka, but also a fan of another sport (we don’t always only organize judoka sports events) from anywhere and with us to wherever we found a good place for a quality camp or tournament. No problem!

How do I deal with the language barrier?

The question is, in today’s age, when every young person knows at least the basics of English, is there still a real barrier? Nevertheless, you can communicate with us passably in German, Polish and Russian. And even if nothing from this offer is for you, we will still make an agreement!

What if I'm a little under or over the age limit for the event?

Write or call (+420 606 512 374 / go@judotraining.cz) and we will discuss it. Sometimes it doesn’t work and sometimes it does. We’ll talk.

Where can I find basic information about a specific event?

There is a lot in the product tabs on the website. There you should find everything you need to make an initial decision. Alternatively, write a question, e.g. at the bottom of the website there is a section “Write to us.”

Where can I find detailed information on a specific event?

Business matters are explained in detail in the section “General Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.” You will receive organizational details, instructions and advice on a specific event in good time before the start, in the period between the completed registration (after payment) and departure or departure.

I need new or to supplement the current equipment for judo.

This is the smallest problem that you can solve here: www.e-judo.cz

How is a possible injury or illness dealt with?

Just like at home. According to severity and extent. Mainly with the help of travel and accident insurance. Remedies for high temperature, cough, scratchy throat, cold, etc. are usually available in the destination as well. But of course we have the basic equipment with us. If there are minor injuries that do not require an X-ray and further assessment by a doctor, a bandage, duct tape, plaster, etc. will help. If the injury is of a larger scale, or with a suspicion that requires an X-ray, etc., it is dealt with through the contracted doctor of the participant’s insurance company.

You run out of cash or your card doesn't work when participating in an event.

No problem at all. During your stay, we will pay for you expenses such as food, entrance fees, or even purchases of souvenirs or clothes, and we will settle at home.

How about the insurance?

It is the most important luggage for the trip! Participation is not possible without it.  If you are from a country other than the Czech Republic, take out travel + risk sports insurance, including judo. It is advisable to check that the insurance company has contractual medical facilities in the place of residence, or that it accepts treatment anywhere.

I need proper proof of payment.

You will receive all proforma invoices and surcharge (tax) invoices exactly as they should be. If you need specifications, changes or mistakes in the document, please feel free to contact us at +420 606 512 374 or orders-invoicing@e-judo.cz).
